Jose asked:
I don’t understand why they put the plastic insulator in the car door. It looks like you won’t have any problem without it. I just replace one window regulator in my car door and throw the plastic insulator away.

Jason S asked:
I have a dryer that has a plastic shower curtain melted inside the drum. I have already removed the drum from the dryer so it is easier to work on. I’ve been using a scraper to get the big stuff off the smooth surfaces, but each one of the holes has plastic stuck in it. Anybody have any suggestions for cleaning this? Thanks!

BaLLs oF WonDeR asked: I installed my headlights in my car but I forgot to take off the plastic cover. The plastic is just like plastic wrap that they sell at a grocery store. Now the heat in this summer caused the plastic cover to get stuck to the headlights and I can’t remove it. What can I do? I don’t wanna use thinner to remove it because it might damage the headlights since they are made out of plastic I believe. They are clear. I bought them for a mitsubishi eclipse 2000.
Any suggestions are welcomed

I painted the interior plastic of my truck a while back using the proper method for painting plastic (although painting plastic usually ends up being a pain). Its chipped in a few places and I Would like to return to the original color. It seems reasonable that if i sand enough, itll go back the the origianl color and i can then smooth it out and gloss it. I’m just making sure this is actually possible to do?

Christopher L asked: I work for a newspaper and have been put in charge of refurbishing a number of yellow plastic newspaper boxes. I have just pressure washed them and while that took off a lot of the “surface” dirt, there is still a lot of dirt that seems to be weathered into the plastic.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how I may be able to clean these up? Someone told me acetone but not sure how well that would work.
Thanks in advance!

JR asked:
The plastic paneling just under my wiper is all broken up. Where can I buy a replacement? It looks like some sort of a vent. I’ve called junkyards, but they said they usually destroyed that part to take out the wiper blades. It’s a 2000 Chrysler voyager.
Also, does anyone know what this part is called? Thanks!

flutterback asked:
Anyone know how to make those sliding plastic storage bins stop screeching? I’ve tried rubbing soap on the guides, but it still emits an ear splitting screech when you open or close it. And my boss won’t let me throw it out, so I really need some help to make it stop!
Thanks in advance!

Contico makes boxes like these, but the largest one I found is about 3 inches too small. The box is going to be used on a hitch hauler like this: http://www.stowaway2.com/item.asp?ProductID=108

my carpet is on a slab foundation. the boxes can be under the bed or just sitting out in the open and it still gets wet. i don’t have a water leak its been checked. its been going on for approximately four years. i’m continually having to pull out boxes sprinkle w/baking soda carpet powder and let it sit for a few hours and then vacuum. i don’t know if putting vinyl down would be the only way to alleviate the problem.
